SAIC Group เปิดตัว Roewe D5X DMH (dual-motor hybrid) เป็นรุ่นย่อยใหม่ จำหน่ายที่ประเทศจีน ทำตลาดในกลุ่ม compact SUV PHEV
D5X DMH จัดอยู่ใน D series ของ Roewe ซึ่งก่อนหน้านี้เปิดตัวไปแล้วกับรุ่น D7 DMH และ D7 EV
งานพัฒนาบนพื้นฐาน Modular Scalable Platform (MSP) เปิดตัวไปกับ Roewe RX5 นำมาปรับเปลี่ยนงานออกแบบใหม่
และยังพัฒนาเป็น New MG HS 2024 ที่มีคิวเปิดตัวที่ประเทศจีนช่วงไตรมาสที่ 2
งานออกแบบภายนอกดูเรียบง่าย ไม่มีเส้นสายงานออกแบบมากนัก
งานออกแบบภายใน ติดตั้งจอแสดงผลขนาด 24.6 นิ้ว
มิติขนาดตัวถังยาว 4,700 กว้าง 1,890 สูง 1,664 ระยะฐานล้อ 2,765 mm.
เครื่องยนต์ที่ทำตลาดเป็นขนาด 1.5 ลิตร เทอร์โบ PHEV ทำงานร่วมกับมอเตอร์ไฟฟ้าคู่ กำลังสูงสุดทั้งระบบ 352 hp
ทำอัตราเร่ง 0-100 ใน 6.9 วินาที
สามารถขับในโหมด EV ได้ระยะทาง 135 km อัตราสิ้นเปลืองเฉลี่ย 19.04 km/l
โดยระยะทางสูงสุด เครื่องยนต์ + มอเตอร์ไฟฟ้า สามารถขับได้ระยะทาง 1,300 km มาตรฐาน CLTC
