I'm a real user that changed from CHR HV to CX-30, in my opinion, it's have something is the difference that you need to trade-off and choose,
CHR is best on Fuel economy and service center for driving feel confidence moreover model Toyota made before(mass product), the ride is very comfortable from suspension to the seats for the engine is quite immediately for the launch of 0km/h (from electric motor torque)but after 110 is might diminish, for the back seat is more space than CX-30 and seat tilt angle is appropriate for long traveling just one limited thing is the window space
for CX-30 the advantage is that for interior material (but also need more to take care of), the engine is the fast response from launch and overtaking (better than CHR) and of course the fuel economy much consumes more than CHR also, suspension for my personal I think a bit less flexible than CHR (softer than Mazda 3) but good to control on Highspeed riding and curved, for the back seat is acceptable space is enough for passenger bit the tilt angle is a bit too steep.
For HS PHEV I've test drive only 1 time, I feel it a quite large passenger space, and the material looks precious than CHR (not sure how's about the durability in the future) the acceleration is a bit faster than CX-30, and of course! better than CHR, right now still waiting whether how's the MG production quality can good prove enough
